Where it is used
Orange is a visibility colour – used for warning marks, grade codes and anything that has to be spotted at a glance on a line or in a yard. The light-fastness rating matters if the printed product will sit outdoors or under bright light for any length of time.
Choosing the right fluid
Pigmented inks need more filter and printhead attention than the non-pigmented blacks, and a machine running black needs a full flush before it takes a colour. Worth planning the changeover rather than doing it mid-shift.
