Expert service. Practical options. Support that goes beyond the machine.
When your label applicator needs attention, replacing it should not be the automatic answer. The first step is understanding what is wrong, what your production line needs and whether your existing equipment is worth restoring.
That is where Pacific Labeling & Integration comes in.
As an authorized Label-Aire distributor and service center, PLI provides more than equipment sales. We support manufacturers with equipment selection, installation, integration, operator training and ongoing maintenance. Our goal is to help you make the right decision for your operation, whether that means servicing an existing applicator, exploring refurbishment or planning an upgrade. (Pacific Labeling & Integration)
For manufacturers operating Label-Aire 31XX Series applicators, the Rebuild, Refurbish, Recertify Program provides an opportunity to evaluate existing equipment for refurbishment, return it to factory settings and receive a one-year Label-Aire factory warranty upon completion.
Start with PLI. We will help you understand the program and determine the next steps for your applicator.
A FACTORY-BACKED PROGRAM WITH PLI AS YOUR SERVICE PARTNER
Label-Aire’s Rebuild, Refurbish, Recertify Program is designed for 31XX Series applicators. Rather than assuming an older or underperforming unit needs to be replaced, the program begins with an evaluation and a quote.
Refurbishment proceeds only after approval. Once completed, the applicator is recertified and covered by Label-Aire’s factory warranty for one year.
PLI is your point of contact for discussing this option, reviewing your application and connecting the refurbishment decision to your broader production requirements. The factory program provides the refurbishment and recertification process. PLI brings the service relationship and application support that help you make the most of it.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
Step 1: Contact PLI for evaluation guidance
Begin by contacting our team with your Label-Aire applicator model, serial number and a description of the issues you are experiencing. Photos of the equipment and details about your labeling application can help start the conversation.
Are operators making frequent adjustments? Has label placement become inconsistent? Is the equipment sitting unused because it needs attention? Tell us what is happening and what you need the applicator to do.
The program calls for submitting the applicator for evaluation and receiving a quote. Contact PLI before shipping your equipment so we can help confirm the appropriate submission process and discuss your service needs.
Step 2: Review the quote and approve the refurbishment
The evaluation gives you a basis for deciding whether refurbishment makes sense for your equipment and production requirements.
After approval, the applicator is refurbished through the program and brought back to factory settings. The evaluation and approved quote establish the work to be performed, rather than assuming every applicator needs the same repairs.
Before proceeding, discuss the quoted scope, expected turnaround and any installation or startup support you may need. Planning these details matters, especially when the applicator is part of an active production line.
Step 3: Receive recertification and a one-year factory warranty
Once the refurbishment is complete, the applicator is recertified with a one-year Label-Aire factory warranty.
This warranty is a specific benefit of having the applicator refurbished through the program. Ask PLI about the applicable warranty terms and any additional service arrangements needed for your facility.

OUR SERVICE DOES NOT STOP AT REFURBISHMENT
A refurbished applicator is only one part of a successful labeling operation. Your team also needs the equipment properly set up, operators who understand it and access to help when questions arise.
PLI supports Label-Aire equipment with remote troubleshooting, on-site diagnostics and repairs, preventive maintenance and replacement parts assistance. Our labeling support also includes sensor calibration, label-feed optimization and touchscreen troubleshooting. These services can be discussed separately based on your equipment and application needs. (Pacific Labeling & Integration)
Our role is not simply to direct you to a program. It is to help you address the labeling challenges that led you to seek service in the first place.
That means keeping the conversation focused on your operation: the products you run, the labels you apply, the problems your operators encounter and the performance you need.
REFURBISH OR REPLACE? START WITH THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.
Refurbishment deserves consideration when your existing applicator still suits your application but needs professional attention. Replacement deserves consideration when your requirements have changed.
Before making either decision, ask:
Does the applicator still meet your label-size, product-handling and production-speed requirements? How does the refurbishment quote compare with the cost of replacement and installation? What service window can your operation accommodate? Will your team need help with setup or training when the equipment returns?
There is no single answer for every production line. An evaluation is an opportunity to compare options before committing to a larger equipment investment.
At PLI, we believe good service starts with helping you ask the right questions.
