Where it is used
Lactate chemistry is the answer for non-absorbent surfaces – coated board, film, treated metal – where an oil-based ink will smear instead of setting. Typical dry time runs 20 to 60 seconds depending on the substrate and whether you have forced drying on the line.
Choosing the right fluid
Dry time is the constraint. If your line moves product into a case packer inside 20 seconds, you need either forced drying or a different chemistry – we can look at line speed with you before you order.
